Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about PAASL registration, games, and league policies.

What is the minimum age to play?
PAASL is a 25-and-over league. You must be 25 years or older at the time of registration.
How long are PAASL games?
Due to the field permit time constraints of our Evening league and the need for consistent rule and game length application across all PAASL games, each game is 90 minutes of play. Games must end on time to accommodate downstream field permit users and referee personal schedules. Games that start late may not be extended beyond their scheduled ending time, even if that results in a game that is less than 90 minutes in total length. Players are advised to arrive on time and check in well before the scheduled game time in order to ensure that your game can run the full 90 minutes.
How do I become a team coordinator?
Team coordinators are selected based on experience and PAASL score. Contact the league for more information.
How do I find out when registration is open for the next session?
You can be notified when the registration windows open by signing up for PAASL notifications
When can I register to play?
You can register to play for an up-coming season when the registration window is open. This typically opens for about a month before that session starts. We aim to close the registration about a week before the session starts in order to set the teams and game schedule.
Who can play in the pickup games?
Only players registered for the current league can play in the pick up games of their league, i.e. registered players for Sunday league cannot play in the pick up games for evening league and vice versa. You must have a valid player pass with you in order to participate in the pickup games.
When do we play?
The PAASL league runs three seasons per year, one in the Spring (January to May), one in the Summer (June to August), and one in the Fall (Labor Day to December). Games are played on Sundays or Evenings.
